About Wee Razcals
Hi, I’m Pam, and I’d love to share a bit about myself and my background.
I’ve been a qualified dog groomer for the past eight years, starting as a hobby that gradually turned into a passion and desire to build my own grooming business.
I earned my Level 3 City & Guilds Certificate in Dog Grooming from Scotgroom in September 2014.

Before this, I spent much of my adult life working with animals, particularly in the equine industry. I managed several livery yards and achieved my BHS.A.I. certification in the mid-1990s, allowing me to work as a freelance riding instructor. However, after a significant injury ended my 15-year career in equine, I sought a new path that wouldn’t take such a physical toll.

My love for dogs and my own experience training my pet led me to work in Dog Day Care for five years, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This experience deepened my desire to continue working with animals.

In 2015, I took on a new challenge by joining the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies as an Animal Care Assistant. Here, I work across various departments in the Small Animal Hospital, including medicine, surgery, and intensive care. The role is both hands-on and rewarding, as I assist in nursing animals back to health through a range of challenging yet fulfilling situations.
